My business, my life
– an adventure

Simply Jörg.
When seniority, expertise and values come together

In my personal life, I'm a family scout, chili enthusiast, recreational diver, dog lover, and nature admirer. In business, I'm a visionary, strategist, mentor, and hands-on executor. Wherever I am, my focus is on creating frameworks in which people can take ownership and act responsibly. When the wind picks up or visibility deteriorates, I step in – not to explain why the storm has arrived, but to set a clear course and restore the system’s ability to manoeuvre. What drives me? A thirst for adventure. And a genuine openness to change. What do I bring with me? A well-equipped toolkit of experience, methodology, and craftsmanship – combined with a deep passion for what I do.

People at the center. Technology as a lever.
Operational excellence for international competitive advantage and change.

I work where organisations are under pressure and operational leadership needs to become effective again – right where value is created, with the people in the process. I use technology, KPI-based control loops, and digital systems as levers to create orientation and secure decision-making – not as a substitute for leadership. This is how measurable competitive advantages emerge, supported by clear processes, accountable leadership, and a functioning corporate culture.

My operational and technical management delivers sustainable performance, international competitiveness, and change that is truly carried by people.

“My mission is to
safeguard
European
operational
enterprises against
strategic and economic
irrelevance.”

Interim Operation Manager

Calm under pressure. Clarity at depth.

A defining part of my personality has been shaped outside factory halls and meeting rooms – through technical diving and freediving. At depth, there is no room for haste or improvisation. A dive must be prepared with precision, risks must be secured, and decisions must be executed reliably – true to the principle: “Plan your dive and dive your plan.” These criteria also define my management approach. I work in a structured way and address problems directly at their source. Mental strength and self-reflection enable me to maintain a forward-looking focus even under pressure – never looking back. I reduce complexity through rigorous requirements management, clear priorities, and systems that function reliably even under heavy load.

I also meet people in critical mandates with calm and composure. In such situations, I do not act as a warrior, but as a builder. Thoughtful action, presence, and trust are the foundation that allows information to flow and responsibility to be assumed. The combination of technical discipline, human clarity, and inner calm makes me particularly effective in escalation, crisis, and transformation situations.

“My leadership style:
Tough on the issues.
Fair to people.”

Human at heart: The person behind the role

Gratitude plays a central role in my life. I am grateful for the life I am able to live – with my wife, for the shared time with our children and grandchildren, and for the trust that connects us. This sense of gratitude also shapes my professional conduct: it keeps me attentive, respectful, and mindful of people, tasks, and responsibility. Those who are grateful listen more carefully, judge less hastily – and act with a clear inner compass.

Nature is my balance; diving is my place of calm. Both sharpen my focus on what truly matters: being attentive, observing, and taking pressure out of situations. I like to work directly and in a straightforward way – with humour when appropriate, and with the aspiration to always leave things better than I found them.

“My bag is always within reach,
one phone call is all it takes –
and I’m ready for the next
OPEX adventure.”

I am the right choice when a mandate requires

  • operational excellence in the engine room,
  • zero tolerance for errors, and
  • system- and AI-supported analyses as a sound basis for decision-making – while accountability and leadership clearly remain with people.

This is how collaboration delivers results that shape the future: clear, reliable, and goal-oriented.
